Dartford ran out comfortable winners despite a much improved second half performance from the home side. Dartford took control from the start pushing Blackfield onto the back foot and getting in dangerous crosses from both flanks taking advantage of their superior height.
In the 11th minute one such cross was turned in from 2 yard by Sheringham after a smart save from Noice. As the half came to a close Dartford scored a second when Wanadio got to the byeline and his cross was turned in by Allen from 4 yards.
The uphill task for the home side came steeper when despite putting significant pressure on the away side defence in the 63 min a penalty was awarded which was confidently dispatched by Sheringham for his 2nd of the game.
Almost immediately the home side attacked and cross by Plummer was nearly turned in by Kasimu.
However any chance of a comeback was killed when a corner in the 83 min was drilled across the Blackfield 6 yard area and turned in by Cunnington.
